4b4the4th is an e-mail and social media campaign that helps raise awareness and much needed funding for the Spina Bifida community. By reaching out to friends, family, and colleagues who are linked through electronic means of communication such as Facebook and Twitter, each of us can do our part to increase knowledge and available support for those affected by the birth defect.
SBA launches its 4b4the4th campaign every March, which is four months before the 4th of July (hence the name of the campaign). Team Captains make and solicit donations of $14, $40, $400 or more and ask 4, 14, 40 or more of their friends to do the same…all before the 4th of July.
Team Captains compete against each other to win a variety of prizes, including SBA merchandise and gift cards. The Team Captain who raises the most amount of money will receive a complimentary 3-night hotel stay and registration for two at SBA’s 2016 National Conference.

Have no fear - you can still participate in the 4b4the4th campaign. Simply send an email to your friends, family, and other contacts asking them to support your efforts. You can also hold a fundraising event if you so choose.
