Advocacy Priorities

There has never been a more urgent call to advocacy. The needs of all those in the disability community are great and they are especially critical for those who live with Spina Bifida.

SBA advocates on Capitol Hill on behalf of the National Spina Bifida Program (NSBP) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In addition, SBA educates legislators about the important role of folic acid in the prevention of Spina Bifida and other disability issues.
