Increasing public awareness of Spina Bifida is so important to everything done at SBA.

SBA’s Awareness Campaign is a yearlong effort to increase the public's understanding of Spina Bifida. We focus our efforts during the weeks between Mother's Day and Father's Day and the month of October - Spina Bifida Awareness Month.

Through the years SBA has received many inquires as to what it is like to live with Spina Bifida from adults, parents, and children –both with Spina Bifida and without. The Real Stories collection is a series of short biographies about real people, their families, and their daily living with Spina Bifida.
