The National Resource Center on Spina Bifida (NRC) provides high quality, confidential information and referral services.  Every year the NRC responds to as many as 10,000 questions about health care, education, employment, benefits, and more.  The National Resource Center on Spina Bifida is the only clearinghouse of information exclusively dedicated to Spina Bifida.

The Center draws from a breadth of resources and publications to help you find out what you need to know.  It will also help you find the closest Spina Bifida Association chapter and Spina Bifida clinics.  Whether you are an adult living with Spina Bifida, the parent of a child with Spina Bifida or just found out that the baby you are carrying has Spina Bifida, the NRC is here to help. 

The NRC is responsible for all information found on the SBA Web site and materials. Some of the most popular SBA materials are available for download and easy use. These include the Latex List and Section 504 plan to aid parents in educating their child’s school about the unique challenges of Spina Bifida.

In addition to housing SBA produced materials and informational fact sheets, it also has a variety of publications available for purchase from other resources. Publications can be purchased through the Marketplace section of the Web site.
