Media Center

A main focus of SBA is increasing public awareness about Spina Bifida. In part this is done through media and press relations.

If you are a reporter with an immediate deadline, please contact Amanda Darnley, Director of Communications and Marketing, at 800-621-3141 for assistance. Inquiries not on immediate deadline should be submitted in writing to adarnley@sbaa.org and will be answered promptly.

Insights Into Spina Bifida, SBA’s bimonthly newsletter, serves to educate and enlighten with articles about medical conditions, employment, family issues, advocacy, research, and SBA activities. Insights is currently a membership benefit. It is also available by subscription. To subscribe to Insights, please visit the Marketplace.

SBA also posts recent press releases and articles that may be of interest to reporters and other constituents.

SBA Members have also written many generic articles that may be reprinted by the press. These can be used with or without bylines.

An updated version of the 2009 Latex List is now available in English and Spanish.
