When you support the Spina Bifida Association (SBA), you know that your investment is working for the future of the 166,000 men, women, and children in the United States who live with Spina Bifida.
Your support will help SBA continue to serve, strengthen, and enrich the lives of those with Spina Bifida and those who love them through research, prevention, education, and advocacy.
There are many ways to support SBA. Please consider the suggestions listed here:
SBA also has several targeted giving campaigns which may be of interest. These include:
- Support Spina Bifida Research
Investing in research will ensure the health and wellbeing of those living with disabilities today and those who may be affected in the future. Please make a contribution to the Spina Bifida Association.
- Send a Child to Kids!Camp
Your gift will help send a deserving child to Kids!Camp—the only national camp for children with Spina Bifida and their siblings—and help a family learn to hope for the future.
- John Wester Memorial
The Spina Bifida Community lost a friend and advocate when SBA Board Member John F. Wester, Jr., Esq. passed away at the age of 47. The family asked that contributions be made to SBA in lieu of flowers. Please note that your contribution is being made in the name of John F. Wester, Jr.
- Hal Pote Legacy Fund
In June 2007, the Spina Bifida Community lost an extraordinary leader, friend, and champion with the passing of Spina Bifida Foundation Founding President, Harold W. Pote. In recognition of his passion and commitment and to ensure that his vision is achieved, the Spina Bifida Foundation has established the Hal Pote Legacy Fund to benefit Spina Bifida research and advocacy.
