Help Us Improve the Lives of those Affected and Prevent Spina Bifida
Since 1973, the Spina Bifida Association (SBA) has been the only voluntary health agency in the nation dedicated to preventing Spina Bifida in future generations and improving the quality of life for those with Spina Bifida.
Without your generous support, this work would not be possible.
In order to make your online contribution process as streamlined as possible, we offer several campaigns and options for you to choose from.
Make a General Donation
By making an unrestricted contribution to the SBA, you are making an investment in the future of the lives of the tens of thousands of men, women, and children who live each day with this challenging birth defect.
Make a Memorial Gift
Create a living memorial to honor a lost loved one or friend by supporting the work the SBA does.
Send a Tribute Gift
Honor a loved one with a contribution to the SBA in their name - perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, other occasions. We will send a personalized eCard to your designated recipient informing them of your gift!
Establish a Recurring Gift
Give a recurring gift to support SBA’s ongoing work in education, service, research, and advocacy throughout the year.
Send a Child to Kids!Camp
Your gift will help send a deserving child to SBA’s Kids!Camp – the only national camp for children with Spina Bifida and their siblings.
Hal Pote Legacy Fund

In recognition of his passion and commitment and to ensure that his vision is achieved, the Spina Bifida Foundation has established the Hal Pote Legacy Fund to benefit Spina Bifida research and advocacy.
John Wester Memorial Fund
The Spina Bifida Community lost a friend and advocate when SBA Board Member John F. Wester, Jr., Esq. passed away at the age of 47. The family asked that contributions be made to SBA in lieu of flowers. Please note that your contribution is being made in the name of John F. Wester, Jr.
