Walk-N-Roll® for Spina Bifida Gains MomentumSBA's Walk-N-Roll® for Spina Bifida is continuing to bring awareness and raise necessary programmatic funds for many of our Chapters. Five events have already been held this year with additional events scheduled for late summer and fall. Walk-N-Roll® for Spina Bifida brings out people from all walks of life as both participants and volunteers. This event has had amazing support within the last two years so that it has become a national effort. More than 60% of our SBA chapters are now hosting Walk-N-Roll® events to spread awareness and celebrate you! Update on upcoming eventsSeptember 24 – SBA of Alabama – SBA of Alabama has already raised $10,000 in sponsorship funds andteam totals are growing every day towards their $35,000 goal! September 25 – SBA of Greater New England (formerly SBA of Massachusetts) – With more than 10 teams already recruited, SBA of Greater New England (formerly SBA of Massachusetts) is on their way to achieving their $60,000 goal and celebrating their newly expanded service area! September 25 – SBA of Connecticut – Also being held on September 25, SBA of Connecticut will be celebrating its third Walk-N-Roll event. Team registration is now open online! October 1 – SBA of Kentucky – A new event for SBA of Kentucky this year, their Walk-N-Roll is sure to generate enthusiasm in an already vibrant community. October 15 – SBA of the Mid-Atlantic Region – With over $35,000 in sponsorship funds already committed and many teams from the 2010 Walk-N-Roll recommitting, SBA of the Mid-Atlantic Region is excitedly anticipating their third Walk-N-Roll event. October 29 – SBA of Central Florida – SBA of Central Florida is off to a strong start on its inaugural Walk-N-Roll event with $5,000 raised by 15 teams so far. October 29 – SBA of Arizona – SBA of Arizona is excited to host its third Walk-N-Roll for SB this fall. Team sign-up is now open! If you would like to help grow their success, you can still make a contribution by clicking on the link.Remember, you can join a team or become an individual walker for all Walk-N-Roll events. If you cannot be there on the day of the event or if there is not a Walk-N-Roll scheduled for your Chapter, you can register as a Virtual Walker and enjoy online participation.
