April 26 – 28, 2020
Teal on the Hill is the Spina Bifida Association’s annual advocacy day on Capitol Hill.
Join us and hundreds of members of the Spina Bifida community from across the United States as we create a sea of teal on Capitol Hill, advocating for issues such as continued funding for the Spina Bifida program at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, disability rights, and affordable and accessible health care, medical supplies, and technologies. Your voice matters! Please join us for this empowering event and become an advocate for a brighter future for people with Spina Bifida.
SBA works with the District Policy Group (DPG) to develop a training that teaches you what to expect during a visit to Hill and to review what our “asks” will be. DPG schedules all visits and you will be grouped with others from your state or region to visit multiple staffers of members of Congress.
