Call for Demonstration Posters

Spina Bifida Clinical Care Meeting attendees* are invited to submit abstracts for demonstration posters to showcase emerging ideas, service delivery models, and advocacy efforts related to Spina Bifida.

Poster content: Demonstration posters should focus on novel techniques and/or technologies rather than on scientific data, and feature quality improvement efforts and outcomes,  innovation in care, or clinical processes.

Abstract format: To ensure fair comparisons across submissions, abstracts should include:

  • Background/Objectives: Briefly introduce the issue and state the posterโ€™s objectives.
  • Description: Summarize the key information presented in the poster.
  • Significance: Explain why the information matters, noting any innovative aspects and potential future directions or qualityโ€‘improvement opportunities.
  • Resources: Include at least three relevant references.

Review:

  • The SBCCM Planning Committee will review and select poster abstracts based on innovation and potential impact on Spina Bifida clinical care.
  • Student/trainee status will not influence scoring.
  • *Authors of accepted posters must register/be registered for the SBCCM. They will qualify for earlyโ€‘bird pricing regardless of the official earlyโ€‘bird cutoff date.
